THE OXFORD WORKING MEN'S CLUB - bistro 1887 & takeaway
The Oxford Working Men's Club celebrates over 130 years of being a social hub in Oxford ever since it was founded in 1887.
TAKEAWAYS open 7 days from 5pm (including public holidays with no surcharges) and offers all the traditional fish & chips plus burgers, pizzas and light meals (Mon-Thurs). Food can be taken away or you can dine in the bar areas.
BISTRO 1887 open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 5pm to 9pm and provides entrees, light meals, hearty options, tempting desserts and a great kids menu with a free ice cream sundae and activity pack for the littler diners. All at great value for money. Members and non-members are welcome to dine at our Club.

THE WEST OXFORD HOTEL
In July 1878 William Paget built the Commercial Hotel. The licence had been granted on the condition that the pub was up within a month - imagine that happening nowadays! It was declared 'one of the finest country hotels in the province', and is now the West Oxford Hotel, the survivor of Oxford's first four pubs.

This gorgeous country hotel known fondly as 'The West' offers accommodation and good service with a full bar, delicious food and a friendly welcome.
